LAUREN FERRAND + ASHLEY F BOWMAN 

Always choosing a slightly different path from the rest, sisters Lauren and Ashley started their design firm early in their careers.  After graduating from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors of Interior Design, both were employed by architecture firms. During their employment with architects in Baton Rouge, they achieved their licensure. Their roles as in-house designers provided opportunity to express their design sensibilities and strengthen their collaboration style. 

Four years into their professional careers, Ferrand Design was established. The business was founded as a result of the local market calling for more independent interior design consultants.  South Louisiana was teeming with architecture firms but had very few independent and licensed interior designers. The demand for interior designers lead local architects to find value in partnering with the talented Ferrand team. In choosing to partner with several architecture firms, Ashley and Lauren were able to hone their design skills in cities across the country collaborating on commercial, hospitality, multi-residential, university, healthcare and private residential projects. 

Lauren and Ashley are interior design pioneers with more than a decade of experience acting as firm leaders. They have an extensive list of successful projects, a comprehensive network in the interior design industry and employ a staff ranging from designers schooled in architecture to interior stylists.
